Mountain Maryland Art Sale and Tour This website was developed to help promote one of the regions premier art events. It includes a full directory of participating artists managed through a backend database. A video was also developed to highten interest and increase participation by various media outlets.

Musicasaurus This was a collaborative effort between an illustrator to develop the playful dinosaur theme and myself to make it all come alive and allow the client to do regular blog-like entries without the use of a "canned" blogging interface.

Tom Hawk: The Yodeling Professor Tom Hawk, "The Yodeling Professor", was releasing a new recording of his music and wanted a website to capture the public's interest. We worked together to design an online presence that reflects his character and enthusiasm for his art. Photography by Vibrant Image was a key element in the design.

Windsor Hall The client for this site desired not only a visually striking and "energetic" interface but also a very sophisticated back-end that would allow board members and staff to maintain an events calendar, a patron list, as well as track monies and timelines associated with the venue's events.

Chayo de Chevez A multitalented printmaker and painter, this artist requested an easily navigable and elegant interface for collectors to view her various print series'. "Modern Minimalism" is a term I would use to describe the visual goal of this site given this artist's contemporary aesthetic.

Meg Romero Studio This client makes "over-the-top" furniture so she desired a look that captured the seemingly conflicting attributes of whimsy and sophistication. The site is primarily a gallery for prospective clients to see her style and creativity. It also embodies a back-end database for capturing customer information for mailing lists. (yes, we are related- I'm the lucky guy who married her!)

Evergreen Associates Evergreen Associates provides a variety of student housing. The client wanted a virtual tour of each property as well as a list of amenities and a floor plan for each type of unit. An interactive map was created to navigate between unit location and apartment description.

Bruce House Inn The owner was after a very elegant design with an abundance of photographs to allow a prospective guest to get a sense of the quality, convenience, and comfort of this exquisite and very popular B&B. The site also integrates seamlessly with a remote site that allows guests to make reservations.

Signature Homes This client was a construction company that wanted to highlight their history, people, and projects. Key to the site, as with most of my projects, was the photography. Additionally, the client wanted a sophisticated color pallette and some "motion" on the home page for interest.

Tangram Woodworks A master woodworker, this client wanted a creative design that used the tangram puzzle as a novel navigation aid. The site is primarily a showcase of the artists amazing woodworking skills so photography is a major element for this site. All photography is by Vibrant Image.
Arteco Gallery This gorgeous little gallery was host to a collection of talented artists, from painters, woodworkers, metalsmiths, photographers, etc. The gallery owner wanted a visual record of each exhibition as well as a small virtual gallery for each artist. A full back-end database was also implemented for gathering patron info as well as transaction data.

Fiddlesticks An early website, this client wanted to convert a comprehensive jewelry catalog that I had designed for her into an online catalog. Each image within the various pages is clickable for more information. The site also features a playful animation on the splash page.
Ashbee Pottery This site was designed for a very talented illustrator, painter, and ceramic artist. One of the main challenges of the site was to create a splash page animation that highlighted the "in the round" ornamentation of her exquisite ceramic bowls and vases.
